F.A.B.I. La Federazione Autonoma dei Bancari, con più di 80.000 iscritti, è l’organizzazione italiana più rappresentativa del settore. Svolge un ruolo guida fra i sindacati autonomi italiani dei servizi che, dal 14 aprile 2002, con la fondazione di FASST hanno stabilito uno stretto collegamento. A livello europeo, in seno ad UNI, mantiene intensi contatti con le organizzazioni europee del settore finanziario. Collabora attivamente con Università ed istituti di formazione per rispondere ai diversi bisogni socio - formativi del lavoratore e delle parti impegnate nel dialogo sociale. FABI ha promosso diverse ricerche allo scopo di conoscere le problematiche che emergono dal cambiamento e dai processi di riorganizzazione in atto per sviluppare collaborazioni di dimensione europea e progettare nuove strategie che consentano agli operatori sociali di intervenire con competenza nel nuovo ambiente transnazionale.

F.A.B.I. The Federazione Autonoma dei Bancari, with more than 85,000 members, is the most representative Italian organization of the sector. It provides a guiding role among the autonomous Italian trade unions in the services sector, which, with the foundation of FASST, created a federation of autonomous unions on the 14th of April 2002. At the European level, within UNI, it maintains close contacts with European organizations in the financial sector. The Federation collaborates with universities and training institutes in order to meet diverse member needs - training for employees and the parties involved in the social dialogue. FABI has promoted a variety of research projects with the objective of understanding the problems that emerge from change and the re-organizational processes underway, for developing collaborations of a European dimension, and plan new strategies that allow social operators to intervene with competence in the new trans-national environment.
